Vac line is homeless!!!

I've got a vac line that I cannot determine where it is supposed to connect. It eminates from the throttle body and is shown as line 1 above. Line 2 above comes from somewhere in front of the throttle body and goes to the dizzy. Can anyone identify on the following schematic or tell me where to put it? Really left myself open there!!!

Thanks to all.

dg

you should have a vac connector on the side of your WUR (#5), you need to get that line attached of you are loosing the enrichment feature. I also hav a tee in the WUR line going to the bot connector on the front of the throttle body (where #8 connects to, this balances off the vacuum a bit and seems to provide even better response.

My dizzy isn't connected right now cuz I am at 15deg advance at 900 rpm (wrong dizzy advance) so to get 30deg @ 6000 I need 15deg and adding the vac adv makes things worse. I will retry with the correct vac connect and use the retart side of the dizzy. Man the exhaust note is so much cleaner and lopier with less adv at idle.

Move the camera a little to the left, based on the bends in the end of the hose I would also agree it goes into the top of the WUR. Brian

Here's a shot showing the WUR... it looks occupied!

You can see this vac line at the top of this new pic. It extends back as far as the a/c pulley. Actually it was even longer, but so brittle that part broke off when I handled it. It also had sort of a hook bend in it suggesting it went somewhere outta sight!

The WUR is certainly suspect because start up is very cold and rough. But all looks connected there....

Thanks again,

dg

Thanks Brian,
here's another view.

I'm holding the line in question in my hand, and the end is shown in the box in white. There is a vac hose connected to the base of the WUR; and there appears to be another vac line in the top of the WUR just to the left of the elec. connections in this picture.

I think the WUR is all connected

Do you still have a thermo valve (#4)? I notice the vac line to your WUR may not be stock.

Thanks all. Sorry I didn't clearify the model. '79 SC with stock air pump removed. The WUR may have been replaced somewhere along the way.

Thats it then. It used to go to the air pump control valve. Plug it and go drive

Thanks too much! Could that be what's causing it to be so "cold natured"?
