964 windshield seal in 930

Is it necessary to install a 964 windshield when installing the 964 windshield seal in a older car, ie: 76 930?

I've tried 2 different windshields and both were too small to work with the new 964 seal

thanks for the help

Yes the 90` and up windshield is indeed larger than the 65-89` windshield .

Yes im 110% positive . Do a search with keywords "964 windshield" then you will hear it from 20+ others who tried it .
Never ask a guy who answers a (sales)phone for a living any tough car questions . It just doesnt work out with good results and they always try to sound like they are the master tech with all the answers. Usually they have zero experience.

BTW Why did you post this question twice ? You should delete that thread.
