Pasadena, CA mechanic recommendations?
Newbie 993 owner, so I need to find local shops to help take care of the car. Can anyone recommend garages/mechanics in or near the Pasadena, CA area?
For future reference, I'm also looking for a good Porsche body shop and a detailer in the Pasadena area as well. I'd like to have some good advice in my files when/if the need arises. Thanks, Kevin

I live in the Pasadena area too. Welcome to the board. TRE Motorsports is located in North Hollywood. You can go to their web site @ tremotorsports.com. TRE has a wonderful reputation. Although I have not had occassion to use TRE yet (I try to do my own maintenance and repair), I will definitely call on them first if I have a problem. Do a search of TRE on this board. I'm over in Northridge. The few times I've needed service, I've used TRE. They're GREAT. Dave, Tyson and Jeremy really know their stuff. And, the icing on the cake is that they're really good guys.
Though they're a little bit of a hike from Pasadena, it's worth your time and effort. You won't be disappointed.
