lm1 log example for mfi in perfect tune
does anyone have something like this? for a 2.4S if possible? one that just got rebuilt?? or is in very good shape?
looking for something to compare my logs with mine's running better and better, but it's far from perfect, yet ideally an lm1 log , with the rpm convertor channel, so i can see what it does at what rpm

it's possible to upload lm1 logs to the Pelican BBS just need to rename the file to .jpg and then remove the img tags make sure "automatically parse URLs" is checked obviously the jpg will not work but after this the file is downloadable , "right click save" and rename to .log after download the original file name will be lost the above one is my last run of the day after cleaning the Throttle body's , i can now rev to 7K RPM but my rpm convertor isn't calibrated properly yet , so the revs in the log are a bit on the low side still some slight hesitation when revving up in 4th gear, comes up around 5-6000 RPM , and goes away if i ease up on the throttle a bit... need some more tuning on the pump , and probably ignition

Man, that thing is RICH as Bill Gates!
9.23 AFR is not optimal for either emission, power och mileage. Get it up around 12.8 at full tilt.

yep...
but although this is to much of a good thing , i've heard that MFI does tend to be on the rich side , even in perfect tune, that's why i was hoping to find a log file of such a well tuned engine, to get some comparison

Well MFI or not, 9,6:1 is not a perfect tune by any means. It's just a waste of money and also a possible risk as overrich condition tends to wash away oil from cylinder walls and dilute oil.
As MFI is a crude mechanical version of Speed/density system, it hs to be on the rich side as extra margin for wearing parts. 12.8 is extra margin, 9.5:1 is raw gasoline spitting out from tailpipes. You probably loose 10-20hp on this too.

yeah , i figured so
ran into small problem with the idle enrichement screw is a pita , and it was to hot to work on it because the idle is putting out to low i wasn't able to lean out the main , because it caused to much popping down low , and it wouldn't idle properly i'll sort that out next time... screw the screw, i'll take the panel off and do it the hard way :d

I just bought the Dynojet wide band commander to use for exactly the same purpose. Hope to have some AFR/RPM graphs to share this week.
