Catalytic Converter in London?
Can anybody in London tell me if I need a catalytic converter on my 84 911. It would be great to put a Euro premuffler and not worry about switching it out for testing.

You don't need a cat in London. The car only has to meet regs applicable to it's year of construction which in 1984 Uk did not require a cat. The regulations can change so it may be worth storing it.
