Child in back seat of 911 CAB?
I know the topic of placing a child seat in the back of a 911 has been covered before. But I want to know what you guys think about placing a child in a car seat in the back of a cabriolet.
Do you think it is safe to do? Or should I part with the cab, and start looking for another coupe? If I do, I'm planning on installing three point belts in the back, since my car didn't come with them originally. Man my life is changing ![]() |

Is it no less safe for your child in a cab than it is for you? Do you feel safe in the cab? Do you plan on rolling your car over with your child in the back seat? Are you and your child "safe" in any car? Are you safe in your own home? Could you be struck by lightning? Life is full of risks, In fact life IS a risk, and I guess is my point is your question is one you need to answer for yourself.

A guy in our local PCA chapter has car baby seats (2 I think in the back of his 88 cab). They look safe and happy.
My daughter loves the seat in my coupe but I bet she would prefer a cab.

Where would you anchor the seats to?

man when i was a little kid i loved getting picked up from school by mom in the cabrio. i thought my mom was the coolest plus the car was badass, 87 cabrio, turbo body, navy top and interior, guards white exterior. who knows where the car is now but id jump in the back seat again right now. unless you plan on flipping the car i wouldnt see why not to put kids in the back. sure every modern car is much safer but its up to you.
