Wheel Bearing Issue

I am at a holding point when it comes to reassembling my Porsche after changing my wheel bearings on the front, I was able to get the old races, and bearings out, and install the new races, and bearings, but when it came to sliding the assembly back together it simply didn't fit. I have a bit of a frankenstein, so I bought a set of 1973 Bearings, bout inter and outer, but didn't fit. My car is a 67 with 86sc engine, and 73 911s suspension to my knowledge. What years were the spindles different sizes?

Spindle dimensions same from 64 to 89.

Should be the same bearings for all the years. Post some pictures of your struts, bearings and where the trouble is.
