So, the Pelican one includes the rotor backing plates? don;t forget those...

I don't think the backing plate in the kit is the same as rotor blockoff plates Jeremy, it is the plate that attaches to the strut ears and connects to hose.

There is one hose 26" long, cut it in half? There are NO instructions.

IMHO - Worthless to buy a kit without those. You'll just end up cooling the inside of the wheels.

Ya, its called a blocking plate, i got 2 of those.

The more I look at the pics i think i may have to cut the hose in half, its 26 " long and it appears to be about 12 " from the scoop to the top of the rotor. The way it was packed left no room for another 26" hose.

Cut it jack - no way you'll use 26" of hose unless you attach to the front valance.
you will probably end up using about 6-8 inches if my memory is correct.

AHH I missed the initial question. Now, I assume you bought the kit, it arrived and there was one section of hose that is 26" long. Yes, cut it in half and use one section on each side.
