OK guys. I'm curious. Who on this board is going to be there tomorrow? I'm planning to be there in time to make Bruce Anderson's seminar.
Show of hands for those of you attending tomorrow please. I'll look for you.

I had to choose one day too, so I picked Sunday to make the swap meet.
How will any of us recognize each other? "I'm a Pelican" buttons? "...wouldn't you like to be a Pelican too..." (I guess you gotta be old enough to remember the Dr. Pepper commercial)

Sunday, dad and I cruising up in the 74 all cleaned up and/or cruising up with some friends from work in the virgin, read 28,000 mile 993S IN POLAR WHITE. Its a total virgin. I had the chance to really give it to her today after class, took her up angeles crest all the way for a run in to say hello. So pop and the boss might be in the 74 and myself and Tiger are going to be in the 993S riding up from pasadena early sunday morning. cant wait to get there

So I'm on my way to GAF this morning. I'm cruising along the Ventura westbound when up on my left I see a very good looking black cab. It's all nice and shiny driving very sane. immediately behind that is an equally nice red turbo body cab. mmmmm I'm thinkin "can this be Scott and Mike"?. I know I'll catch up and wave, you know a friendly hello from one Pelican to another.
(NOTE TO SELF) Porsche drivers don't pay a lot attention to single guys in pick up trucks. I gotta get a Porsche.

Kevin, you're a good sport. And funny too.
I'm sorry we didn't return your wave. I didn't even see you. If I had, I would've waved so hard that I would've probably wrecked.BTW, The car's in good shape now. The front pan and tank support were replaced by a local shop that Hergesheimer recommended shortly after I had that conversation with you. They checked the straightness of the body with a jig and it was good (whew). I had to replace the bumper and bumper shocks while I was at it since the previous hacks screwed them up so bad. After I was done with that little job (ka-ching!) I completely rebuilt my entire suspension (ka-ching again!) and then had the car corner balanced and aligned. It drives so nicely now. I'm happy! Take care and slap me next time I ignore you like that. Jeez!
