Caravan to German Autofest Satuday AM from SD/OC
Anyone want to caravan to Ventura tomorrow morning(Saturday). Want to get there before 10am for Bruce Anderson's lecture. Ideally we can all meet up along the 5 fwy. Cali74 is heading up from N. SD county. Leaving about 6:30?

I am leaving at 7:00 AM from Costa Mesa up the 405, I would meet somewhere off the 405 maybe.

Scott - bring the wife along, there's probably shopping up there, and the beach, and lots of guys, and of course cars - cause we know they love the cars most of all (one can dream right?)!
I'll leave about 6:30 from SD and meet wherever the best place is for others. Alas the trip won't be quite as exciting without the 911, but maybe I can at least buy some stuff for it up there!

You should definitely come Scott! Today's run was very cool. Nice to finally meet you guys.
We could all meet in Costa Mesa, the only easily spotted landmark I can think of is the IKEA store at Harbor. I can't really think of another easy on/off ramp. Any recommendations B D? |

The Ikea seems logical can't miss it, there is also several gas stations at that exit.
You set the time and I'll be there. Scott - bring the wife, I am taking my fiancée.

How about Ikea parking lot, adjacent to the 405 fwy at Harbor Blvd in Costa Mesa. It is on the east side of the freeway on Southcoast Drive. I'll get there a bit early. Red turbo cab obviously!
7:45 am meet time Departure at 8am sharp. That will get us there by 9:30 depending on pace  B D , I know it's a bit later than you planned but it would be cool to have you along. Cali74 has an 1 1/2hr drive up SD to CM so I don't want to make the meet point in CM to early. Anyone else to join in at Costa Mesa? |
