Called my local dealer and spoke with the sales manager. He said the USVI importation is perfectly normal; the origin actually reflects where the ship is registered. He pulled the vehicle history on the BMW network and also indicated that it has a very typical service history and cleared up some questions I had on the option packages. Fantastic!
