Opinions Please
Trying to work out a solution for fastening one of Thom's Hardtops to my Cab. I have a machinist friend that is going to make me a bar similar to the Targa Top Bar.(Attached Pic.) He is going to make as " lip" at the edge of it to give the adhesive something to hold to. I will also skim a layer of fiberglass over the lip. Any suggestions on what type of adhesive to connect the metal to the fiberglass? Thinking about 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive DP110 and a few flat headed bolts(see pic).Suggestions?
