hey bbsc80,

I meant that the brighter colours in the Porsche range usually can attract the red laser dot of a traffic warden.Any other colours they are usually too late!

I can see a Viper green early/longhood,screaming down a race track tho.YEAH.

If I was going to longhood from a later car I would definately go for a pre '74 Porsche colour IMHO.What colour is up to you as you are the one that has to live with the beast.

Do it Tangerine ORANGE,Tangerine ORANGE,Tangerine ORANGE,Tangerine ORANGE,..in my unbiased opinion..:D

OK crew here's the first page of the project There will be more as the project advances. Be patient with the rate of updates. The schedule is tight on this one and I'll be putting in some long days which means less time for hammering out html. Feel free to share your thoughts.

Thanks Kevin, you made my night :) On your link, you need to add an "l" to htm...

She's looking really nice and I cannot believe how much higher she sits with all that weight off! What are we losing? 300#? That's what.....like 30 effective HP? Now, just imagine Viper Green!!!

KevinP73 09-17-2005 09:13 PM

I'm working on that right now. I've got a blinding headache and trying to figure out why my "html" turns into "htm" when I upload it. Sure glad I've got a full time job, this internet stuff gives me a headache.

Orange is still my favorite. Signal I think looks best. With my car I think I'm going to do a black and silver thang...actually paint the ducktail flat black, same with a fiberglass hood. Then flat black panels on the doors for numbers and maybe flat black stripe(s) on the roof.

Or I was thinking something like this:

Did you know the navy during WW2 painted ships like that because it made it harder for the enemy to "range" the ship? Just a little tid bit I learned recently.

If you click on the camo.html page, there is a ton of info on the camo schemes. The pic above isn't my favorite, but I couldn't quickly find the one I liked. The colors they used are on the camo.html page, and I think a battleship camo scheme on my 911 would be pretty cool...haven't seen one like that yet.

Yeah, camo, that would work....that way you would not see me sneaking up on you at Wilow :)

If I were changing color it would HAVE to be orange. This is Continental, I think

Just another color to think about...for those wondering why the mirror is on the right hand door, the car is RHD.A friend of mine took this picture today after I'd put the 7/8x15 Fuches on.Enjoy.
