What are these wheels?

This car came with the wheels shown and no one can tell me what they are. They are 15" and it appears that they are 7" and 8" widths.I've been told that they are some sort of rare Porsche racing wheels but I'm not so sure. The car originally came to New Zealand from England.I've taken these off and am experimenting with some Simmons 16" wheels.

Does anyone know of a website for old Porsche wheels?

The car is a 72 RS rep from an E running MFI.

definitely not factory or race department porsche rims. Look like american mag replicas with a different center. if i had to guess? I'd say an early momo model

They look like Revolution Competition Wheels. Made in U.K. Nice stuff. Had a couple of sets on my BMW 2002s.

Here's a four lug version. Guess I'm not really sure if they even made a five lug.

thanks for the info guys!Following sebring77's lead I found Revolutions homepage and have emailed them with a pic of the wheels were on my car.It appears that they are racing wheels indeed. How rare they are hopefully will be answered by someone at Revolution soon.

Heres a pic of the Simmons. They are 7.5/8.5x16.I'm having issues with the wheels being the slightly wrong offset but am working through a solution with changing tyre sizes. The wheels rub on both front guards with 205/55/16 tyres but should be ok with either 205/50 or 195/50.The rears have RS flares so not too bad but they rub very occasionally with 225/50/16.I may have to look at 215's if rolling the lips of the fenders doesnt sort it,but it should fix it.

Thanks for your help guys.

Rev wheels have a real cult following. The early ones were true "mag" wheels actually made from magnesium. Can't say whether or not that's what you have there.

Rev wheels are more uncommon than rare, but who knows?

Hey,just adding to my post earlier regarding the Revolution wheels that were on my car.

Warren from Revolution UK sent me back a reply. He says that the wheel was launched in 1975,and they marketed about 200 sets for Porsche fitment for a limited time.He doesnt say how many were actually sold or which markets they went to.

The most interesting thing is that when I took the front off my car,I found 10mm spacers had been used.Hope this helps peeps who have a set of these in their garage/shed/bedroom...

No 15x9s from American Revolution. They have 15x10, but only four lug holes, though.
