More MSD problems

Hello again,
I'm still having problems with the MSD I installed. I have a bad miss above 5000 rpm. I installed by instructions in Wayne's Book. New plugs set at wider gap, new blaster coil, new dist cap and rotor button and new MSD. I have the 7000 rpm rev limit installed.
Just to see if there was something else wrong I have re-installed the Permatune and old coil. The car runs fine. By the way the reason I changed the ignition in the first place was the car would die after 10 minutes of operation and would not start until I set on the side of the road for about 10 minutes. The MSD seems to have fixed this problem.
Please I need help!

Make sure the CD box is well grounded and do not use the factory ignition wires!! Use only non-solid core wires when using an MSD unit.

bad miss above 5000 rpm...

any chance the bad miss is the rev limiter? I once put in the wrong one and wondered what was wrong for a day or two.

Low battery voltage can also cause a high rpm miss.
