911 dimensions (bumper-bumper, door-door)?

Quick gang....someone with a tape measure and near their 911...help? I need measurements

I'm getting some resistance from the villiage on my proposed garage. My 20X24 building with a 12x20 vehicle area and 12X20 work shop (divided by a wall) may not pass. I'm only allowed an additional 12X20 vehicle area on my property (maximum 3 cars indoors, and I have 2 already). They seem to think that I'm going to tear down the partition wall after construction so they may not approve the permit.

Anyhow! I really don't see myself tearing down the wall as I'll have too much equipment in the workshop, but I need to maximize the area I can park in, while allowing myself adequate work space. SO! Even though I won't teardown the wall, I might want to store my two 911's during the winter..door to door and bumper to wall and garage door. So I need measurements...

For a short wheelbase 911 I know you need atleast 14 feet from front to rear. Not sure on width.

Oh boy...so two early cars door to door would fill a space of approximately 12' X14' .... not much room for anything else in a 12X20 building

Thanks guys....I need those numbers incase the inspector calls me back this afternoon.

I would, but the 4-post would have to go pretty high for me to use the scissors lift under it when working on the second car!

I think I'll just drive the car into the family room and move the family room into the basement! Damn rules and regulations! I can't have 4 cars in doors, but just a few blocks west there are huge arse pole buildings! And I even see houses with garaj mahals that are almost as bigh as my house! Freak! I think I'll run for public office...Mayor Soukus Maximus! And I'll bring back Gladiators and build an arena in my backyard! Then declare the Villiage a Republic!
