We pulled this one out last year, a 55 Continental Cab, the barn was almost on top of it.

Been driving past this sad 944 all winter. The current snow storm made for a better picture

Not quite in the same league, but I still like them -
Dragged out of a field and for sale near me...

Holy Moly dude. Is that a 924 with a English WWII Spitfire paintjob? Wow. Thanks for sharing. Someone really deserves the award for the best imagination for a Porsche paint job, though for some reason it looks so right on a 924, it being a German car and all...

Unfortunately, a lot of 924's left look like the example above...

...and below:

(no offense to the sellers of these cars...)

These were relatively expensive cars when new as compared to some of the Japanese and European competitors back in the day.

You're thinking of the Flying Tigers paint scheme as used on the Curtiss P40 Warhawk

One of my fave things about my house - having a 9 year old boy allows you to have a few fun things around the place...

This is a spare parts car I bought fifteen years ago. Sadly I had to sell what was left of it as I no longer had storage for it. I missed the ready supply of parts as soon as it was gone

Pulled six cars off the side of a mountain the other day. Gravity is not your friend.

I wrote the whole story up a few nights ago, look for it in an upcoming issue of ESSES, the magazine of the Early 911S Registry.
