Mounting '935'/RUF style mirrors
What's the best way to mount the 935/RUF style mirrors. Do you guys that have them bolt to the window sill alone from inside the door? Is this stable enough or should i use some sort of epoxy as well? Thanks

I fabricated plates which I glued to the mirrors from the inside and then drilled thru the door frame and attached to these fabricated plates via 2 bolts. You can use epoxy as well. I had to make the plates 'cause my mirrors were kind of hollow inside

I bought mine of Ruf and it came with an epoxy. Yes it is hollow inside. Had tham sprayed and used the epoxy. Waitied for one day for it t dry. Today you can sit on it and it wont fall off, thats how strong the epoxy is.

Thanks guys.... think i'll go the epoxy route as i'm not too keen on drilling through the window sill.

I have a set of these FS - I bought them without considering the fact that you need window frames on which to mount them...

I guess you don't really need to see behind you if you use those. Course if you go fast enough you don't need to worry about what is behind you.
