H4 Headlight poor fitting??

Is this the best fitment that I can expect with the H4 conversion on my 87 911?

It appears that you need to push in and down on the top to catch the lip on the bucket better. Like that, they are likely to fall off. This is what I see on the drivers side, although it's a little hard to see the line up. The pass side looks to be down OK, maybe just cinch the screw a bit more? Careful on inserting the screw, it's too easy to cross thread the tab. The screw points upward about 20 degrees and helps to draw down the ring on the last few turns. It should be turn freely all the way in.

Put some shoes on, man. You might step on something.

My H4s fit the same way. Watch out about the seal or they will take in water. I might try some black silicone sealant in the gap, just a tiny bit.
I think they are a bit smaller than the original ones or else the seal is much thicker so the fitment is outta wack. Also think about tying them in with zip ties, read about that here on Pelican courtesy of Jack Olsen
