Auto heat to manual....

I am going to convert the auto heat in my car to manual. What do I need in the way of parts? Do the levers come in one package with the e brake etc or is it all seperate? I do not need the micro switch or any electrics, just the manual control parts...

Thanks,

Wow, what timing. I was just wondering if someone has done this. Keep us posted on your progress. I know I am interested in the outcome/problems.
Are you going to relocate some of the electronics in the control module housing?

I will be wiring in a seperate switch for the footwell blowers so I can turn them off/on and control there speed independant of the position on the heater valves(not possible with auto heat). I think it shoud be pretty simple to do. My problem is that my new dual master cylinder does not fit with any on the factory HVAC plumbing so I am forced to rework the whole system. The heat part is easy, the fresh air is going to be a challenge.......

Cheers,

There are other electronics housed in the control module. Blinkers I think, maybe more.

Sounds like a big job, at least in finding components that will work with the new master cylinder. Good luck and keep us posted on what you do - the research may indeed help others (maybe eventually me).

Jeff, Greg, in July TRE did that job in my car, not sure what is involved (in terms of parts) maybe Tyson can comment on.
