Question Where do these heater hoses go?

Where do the hoses that come into the front kick panels go. I realize they come out into the front trunk, but how do you get to where they go back to the flapper boxes? I'm lost here.

They go through the sills (rocker panel area). I'm not sure if the hoses run through the sills, or if the sills themselves serve as the duct.

I think those come up through the kick panels from the heat exchangers and supply hot air for the windshield defrost.

The hoses don't go through the sills. There is a metal duct/silencer in there. The hoses connect the mixing valves in the trunk with the end of the duct that is in the sills. There is a short section of this duct that protrudes through the sill behind the carpet on the kick panel area in front of each door opening.
