Sacramento's swap meet...

Just got back from the swap meet, and met with alot of great people. Not a big crowd, but alot of nice cars to show....
Anyone here go, and how did you like it???
I know there wasnt much to buy, but GREAT FOOD by big boy BBQ.....

Nice cars on my lists....

Midnight blue 993 (parked in the street)
White wide body 914 - 6 w/17's (far end P lot)
All the black cars there...
And WOW.. the midnight blue 356, that thing was a rust bucket, turned into..BIG $$$$$$ (by silerstar's front door)

I thought it kicked a$$ - I won $350 in gift certs, and two meal tickets! I was able to unload my old doors, hood and rocker covers and some other misc stuff, and picked up a C2 engine lid, and I also found an early 50's bug seat for $20. For once my bus arrived home lighter than when it left.

Here's Serge944 driving my car to the show; if you let this guy drive your car, plan on replacing the clutch...

I swear - no one told me 911s had dead pedals.

Although I had more fun coming to and from the swap, it still wasn't a terrible turn out. Once again I got a free lunch too!

Who's silver 965?

I was there, ( my car was the silver RS clone). I have not gone for about 3 years due to travel conflicts so I was excited to go this year however it was pretty weak as far as vendors go. 3 years ago they had people selling from the begginning of the street to the end of the it.. I bought some great stuff for great prices for my 69back then. As in the thread regarding swap meets vs ebay I agree that is where the sellers are. I did manage to get the alum deck lid from the 73E targa in the back for $ 95. BTW the engine is in tack w/ MFI, don't know how much???
