Well, I did it...Got my first 911
I went and test drove the Carrera. Fantastic shap! No smoke, no leaks, interior like new. Absolutly too good to be true. I bought it and drove the hour and a half back home at speeds up to triple digits. Perfect! The car will need the hood painted due to rock chips and it has a small ding in the drivers door. Other than that it is like new. The wheels were a mess but they cleaned up real easy with wheel cleaner and a bit of mothers aluminum polish.
Man I love this car! 1987, 45K miles, $16,900...............

Now that's a bargain
Keep in mind what these cars cost new and what that equates to in todays dollars. No, there not as refined as new cars but the classic coolness and build quality is there to stay. Enjoy, and welcome to the board. |

Sweet ride at an even sweeter price... I was looking for a Targa to replace my Peugeot Cab... ended up with a coupe.
Welcome & enjoy the car! Michiel PS. It looks like the car is riding pretty high... I think most people here lowered their cars to Euro height (a bit lower than US height). Not that there is anything wrong with the US height... but it just looks cooler when it is a bit lower.
