Oil Cooler and Smog Test
I have a stock trombone oil cooler on my 83 SC. Will upgrading to the later style Carerra oil cooler alter emissions that would prevent it from passing a smog test in CA? Thanks!

Good to hear. This was a mod I was considering. When looking at the PP catalogue there was the tech article that had the quote below.
"The trombone cooler remained in place in the US, primarily because changing the operating temperature of the engine would affect emissions ratings." My guess these ratings differ from what is tested on a smog test? Thanks.
