Sebring
Anyone going this year? What does it take to park in the Porsche corral? I'm not a member of the PCA however, would like to be able to park in the Porsche section. No way I'll drive the 911 and park just anywhere on the inside. Driving the Porsche to Sebring seems like 1/2 the fun. Trying to make a final call if I'm going to make it this yr. Any ideas?
I did work for the duPont REGISTRY and have been able to pull rank in the past. I just dont want to gamble on parking there. Thanks guys, Kelly

I was told at our recent PCA club meeting that the Porsche corral at Sebring was sold out. I am going this year but because my 911 isn't running yet I will drive my Tacoma pickup.

Yep, the Corral is sold out by now. I ordered my tickets over a week ago at at the time there were only 7 corral spots left.

Vinny,
From what I understand the Porsche corral is sold out. If you drive your p-car you will be parking with the general public. Not an ideal parking situation for a 911.

Oh no, parking with the GENERAL PUBLIC. God, what could be worse. I'm planning to go and park anywhere I want. I have been to racing events where I have not parked in the Porsche corral, and I have to say, SO WHAT. Its just a parking place, nothing more. If you want to go see the cars and events, walk over and see them. It does not cost more to do this then it would if you parked in the "porsche corral". Dont worry about where you park your 911, just enjoy the event. Quote "not an ideal parking situation for a 911". Oh get over it, these are just cars, not gods.

Yea, watch out for those land yachts!
I used to just park in the infield somewhere. Never had any problems cept the drive over bridges are a little steep for a low 911!

My car has been deified. Anywhere it parks is immediately sanctified as holy ground. So far, that has mainly been in my garage since it has no suspension - I am planning on consecrating a shine once it's running again.
Once that happy day occurs, I have to admit I will concur with strupgolf - I wouldn't really want my car choice to interfere with actually enjoying something.
