RSR replica project update 4

Well it is that time of the week again, and yet another update.

Front bumper, fenders and bonnet are on just to get everything lined up before it is stripped and painted. Indicator lenses have been fitted and seem to fit perfectly.

Same has been done with the rear section, taillights and prestige panel fitted just to make sure all looks good before final body work preparation is done.

Painter hard at work preparing individual parts before sanding and paint preparation.

First bit of color has now been applied and although it may not look like it in the bad light the end result with be a fantastic Continental Orange.

Fenders and other parts with some paint on, just hanging around in the roof, waiting to be assembled.

Close up of the interior, we decided to remove a piece of the rear parcel shelf, or just below it for easy access to the engine. This will be re fitted and kept in place with speed clips making it easy to remove.

i was just crawling around my lil '70 resto project as i'm dealing with a junky solenoid problem and thought about cutting that out and making it easy to take in and out, i'm sure people have thought about it before but i thought it might be kinda clever...ANYWHO!!!

Thank you for all your kind comments guys.

I am going full Jagermeifter on this one with all the race graphics and everything.

Should look fantastic.

Here is SA there are very few RSR replicas so it will be an unusual car.

Thanks to all once again, more updates next week.

Yes the 74 RSR wide body still has great appeal. I say we turn this thread into the "show me your RSR wide body". Here's another one ala Kremer style.

Cheers,
David

m325ix thanks for the great photos, also fantastic M3 you have, had an E36 M3 until it rolled in a freak accident last year at 40mph.
