Where to Buy Fasteners?

I need 4 12x80 mm socket heads. metricmcc.com has a minimum order of 100, over $100! Anybody know of a more retail oriented source?

If you order your parts from McMaster, ask for a catalog. It is awesome....

Some things are best done in person.. look on dex and see what they have for fasteners. Sooner than later, you will find a bolt store in town that should cater to your needs..

I wound up going down to place in town called FASTENAL to get two lame ass trailing arm bolts.. they had them in immediate stock, and were $2 a piece.
Since then, I've gone back 3 times in so many weeks for more damn mangled german spec hardware.. Much cheaper than the internet, and instant gratification.

..Course, I don't know how big Los Alamos is.

I'll second MMC. Don't expect to get a catalog, though. I own a small business and order at least $1000 worth of stuff from them per year, and they flat out refuse to send me a catalog. Something about my business only having one employee (me). (Fortunately, I can steal an extra copy from work.)

If you can get a hold of one, they are great. An example of how much of a dork I am: I've spent more than a few Saturday nights sipping beer and browsing through their 3500+ page catalog.

That was before I had DSL in the garage, though

I used this place. Easy to pick out what you want, any quantity, quick turn around et cetera.
