Backdate question for early car fan!
Early car fans??? Im trying to determine if any of the bodyparts from a 1967 swb 911 will work on a mid year 911 (carerra). Most of what Im looking at are front fenders and rear quarters swap. Will they bolt up and rear quarters weld straight on??? Is swb or lwb better to use??? Thanks, Mark

Let me understand here, you are wanting to make a narrow bodied car out of a Carrera? That's a new one.
The front fenders would probably work, but they have zero flare. You would need the flat look of the rears to make it match to any extent acceptatble, IMHO. You might be able to graft on the rears in a way that the wheel arch ended up in the right place, but there will be a LOT of body work to do at the rockers, I wouldn't try it myself and I'm up for almost any challenge. |

Zeke, I just bought a swb tub and will probably just resell it and but what I really want but something just got me to thinking could or would they work on anybody style other than swb. The front fenders will work on mid year car? Thanks, Mark
