Price check on '89 Cab

Hi,

Though you guys could help. I have a friend who is interested in picking up a Carrera cabriolet ('87-89 preferred). He will be new to the fold so I've been helping him evaluate some of the cars he comes along.

Currently he's interested in an '89 with 22K miles that's on Ebay (Item# 4578126766). I've got the latest value estimations from B. Anderson but I'm curious as to what price you guys would put on an '89 in this condition.

Just a sanity check that's all.

Looks very good. Rarer color with linen interior - nice. The window portion of the top looks discolored vs the rest of the top, so one or the other was replaced. The brown dash is well . . . brown.

It's a dealer selling it so that would jack the price. He probably wants $28 or $29K. It's worth $4 or $5K less privately imho.

value

considering my dealer was willing to give me $22k for my 30,000 mile like new '03 boxster for trade on a Cayman S I would say that car must be in the $10 to $12k range
