Ok to use denatured alcohol to flush evaporator?

Is it ok to use denatured alcohol to flush evaporator?

Also what should I use to clean the outside? I guess it would some sort of spray since I can't scrub it. The alcohol maybe?

I went and bought a gallon of Mineral Spirits from my local hardware store (O.S.H.).

I used this per the Arizona Air (I think that's their name).

Good luck.

If you want to use alcohol, isopropal alcohol is a better bet than ethanol, but mineral spirits will work too.

Best flush on the market is sold by NAPA. It costs more than mineral spirits or alcohol, but is a much better cleaner and is easy to blow out of the system because it dries very fast. Its called Dura 141 and will clean the gunked up residues that get in all the nooks and crannies of your evaporator.

Thanks Jayt...I'll guess I'll pay more and not have to worry about compatibility.
