OK....link is working now.

To post Ebay ads just copy the items address from your browsers address bar when viewing the auction. Then paste the copied address into the pelican message box.

Like this (But without quotes):

"http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fse arch.dll%3Fsofocus%3Dbs%26sbrftog%3D1%26fstype%3D1 %26from%3DR10%26satitle%3D4577894795%2B%26sacat%3D-1%2526catref%253DC6%26bs%3DSearch%26sargn%3D-1%2526saslc%253D2%26sadis%3D200%26fpos%3DZIP%252FP ostal%26ftrt%3D1%26ftrv%3D1%26saprclo%3D%26saprchi %3D%26fsop%3D1%26fsoo%3D1%26fvi%3D1&item=4577894795"

Delete all the characters after the first appearance of the item number in the address. Then you're good to go. Credit goes to another member who pointed this out.

After:

"http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fse arch.dll%3Fsofocus%3Dbs%26sbrftog%3D1%26fstype%3D1 %26from%3DR10%26satitle%3D4577894795"

Rick's link works fine, and Item Number is 4577894795.

Is that a real Turbo13B in there? Something about it doesn't look right.

WHY???

Why would you go to all thet time and expense instead of just replacing the correct engine and have a car worth something.

I've been involved with collector/sports cars for 35 years and this still amzes me whenever I see it.

Probably better suited to a 915 than a SBC

I would love to drive it. too bad its 6 hours away in BFE. I like the idea but could do without the folger's exhaust. btw, love the "bling" wheels. I feel like I hear the little "blblbbllliinnngg" when I see it.

I think people do engine swaps for a bunch of different reasons the least of which is the end value. Let me be the first to say that "it is not something that I would do...... but it might be fun to drive."
if it was so perfect, they might have restored it or dropped a bigger p motor in it. I guess it depends on who you talk to if that would change the value up or down. I would have, if staying with a P engine gone 3.6 but if not gone with a Dart tall deck 450 and turbos if I could afford it.

Maybe a someone here has drove it.? I bet it will go.

Hmm I actually like. I wonder how the weight balance works out. I wonder how he did the radiator stuff. It would be interesting to see a shot under the hood. Tough to justify spending a bunch of money on the suspension and stuff to make a track monster. Some how cool !!

I have done a few engine swaps in my time, including Porsche..
My personal view is that the installation of a water cooled engine in a car that is designed for an air/oil cooled powerplant is going to have a lot of "kludged" solutions, and the attendant ongoing problems.
Buying a project such as this is buying someone else's troubles...

I don't understand why these frankenporsches ever happen? If I had a 13B motor and p-car w/ no motor, I'd sell one and buy the missing ingredients for the other. Most likely keep the motor and find a RX7 shell to put it in. Same for the V8 conversions, why not just sell the Porsche shell and put the V8 in any number of more sensible options.

That fan looks like it came out of someones window??
Why can't people leave this car ALONE: I dare someone to do this to a Ferrari 308 (or for that matter any mid engine V8 model).
The 911 deserves a more dignified existence; yeah I'm talking to you V8 guys. There I said it.
How would you feel if your manhood was replaced with someone elses???

Here's the front section...

Not for me either - but I do marvel at the customization it takes to make any other engine besides a flat six fit, from a gearhead point of view anyway.
