HELP!!! 911 drv's window!!

hey guys I need some real help here. whenever I try to raise the drv's side glass the slide bar (that holds the actual window) comes out of the distal track (near the door handle). I removed the entire assembly and cleaned the slider bar and all the ass. parts but still once the window starts to go up the reg. just pushes the glass bar out of the track. should it not have some way to lock it into that distal guide rail (near the door handle)? it will do down fine but on the up trip it comes out every time and once it's out it's out for good. the glass actually came out of the retaining/slide bar the last time. should the glass be glued into this bar and if so what is the proper part that I need to order? I know this is probably not a real good description of what is going on but I feel it is pretty accurate. ANY help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!
thanks in advance.
Chris
