Large Porsche & Friends Car Show in Cary, NC This Weekend! 10/1/05
The Hurricane Region of the PCA is having it's annual Octoberfest car show down in Cary NC this weekend. Current registration is 110 cars, should be a great time.

Who All Porsche, BMW and Mercedes Benz owners are invited to the annual Hurricane Region Porsche Club of America Oktoberfest. What Oktoberfest is a “wash it and drive on over” car show to provide the attendees an opportunity to show their cars to other car-loving people. All attendees will receive a Goodie Bag filled with car related goodies, and an exclusive Oktoberfest 2005 t-shirt. Refreshments are provided throughout the afternoon, followed by a barbeque dinner, trophy presentation, and lots of door prizes. When Oktoberfest will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2005 from 1pm to sunset. Where We will once again be holding the event at the lovely, lakeside picnic area at Montague’s in Cary / Raleigh. Montague’s is located at 10305 Penny Road, just east of the intersection of Penny Road and Kildaire Farm Road. Google Map Link What’s New In response to numerous requests, we will be adding an “Exotic” class this year (i.e., Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc.). For those that have something unusual in their garage, bring it out! How Much The registration fee is $27.00 per person. |

Would like to go, but a few of us with early cars are headed to Road Atlanta for PLM this weekend.

We plan on going also,but like Austin552 our 911 won't be able to make it, she's under the weather. Britt does it cost to come and "drool"?

No spectator fee, but I'm told there isn't a lot of extra parking... so you might have to park out front and walk a bit. (i don't know how far that is)
Current car count is 116, including a Carrera GT (new), Ford GT, and Ferrari F430. Hopefully there will be some Carrera GT (old) as well. B |
