Don,

Do you have a 915 in your 69S now or is this a project? What is wrong with your 901? What is wrong with the 915?

Best,
Grady

I have a 1969 911S and I assume it has a 901. Sometimes it does not go completely into first gear and when I push the car to the redline it crunches going into second.

Don,

You might give the below web page a browse. While written for the 914 I found it very useful in explaining the basics of the 901 box.

When the moment arrives for the 914 crowd to be judged, I will come forward and say, "Have mercy on these men, they kept the 901 box alive!"

Don,

These words are no exageration, by ANY means! John did exactly this for me last year with my 915. Step by step, with many bits of information not found in any maintenance manual.

And then, you have Grady posting too? Man, you are safer than an unborn baby in it's mother's womb!

Randy
