How difficult to remove front fender?
 

1980 SC. I would like to remove the drivers side fender to repair rust damage under the head light. I want to get to the back side to contain and patch the rust. How hard is it to RR the fender at home?

Not hard, just tedious.
Lots of attachment points, if you have the Haynes Restoration book it gives a pretty good step by step. Just go slowly and figure out all the bolts and screws up at the front and especially the two retaing bolts that are accessed by opening the door and using a flexible 13 mm socket and lots of patience!
Just get started and if you run in to issues drop me a note.

Oh...and being drivers side you also have some minor hassles with the feul filler...again tedious but not big.
