Marelli distributor, options?
I apparently have a Marelli distributor in my 71 T with a 2.2 and Zeniths. Well the rotor is a Marelli so I would assume it is a Marelli. Anyway according to Waynes book, the cap, rotor and points are difficult if not impossible to find, so what are my options? In Waynes book he says the Bosch distributors are available for $700. 00 (OUCH!) and used ones are very hard to find, so what to do? Has anyone found used one and at what cost? Would EASY or Parts Heaven have these used Bosch distributors? I haven't called yet 'cuz it is Sunday...

Yes, thise are good places to start.. alos the used parts classifieds here & on Rennlist, etc. may be good.
Suggestion: Put a "Wanted to Buy" ad on here, and see what happens. You could also check FleaBay for Porsche Parts..
