No Clutch Clearance

This weekend we replaced the pressure plate on my 78SC and after we got the motor back in the vehicle and adjusted the clutch as per Wayne's book we discovered that we only have 14mm of clutch arm travel rather than the 25mm specified. I set the lockbolt clearance at 1.0mm and the front pedal bumper has not been adjusted. The arm helper spring is also orientated with the curve adjacent to the heat exchanger. Can anyone help with suggestions to regain my lost travel?
Thanks,
Kevin
