Scruffy Rides Again - The Eastern Return Trip
I am going to leave in the morning or late tonight. The plan is to return along the same route I took to get out here. Because I can't start until later than planned I will have to skip the Texas portion of the trip. I can't add another 20 hours on to my drive.

I think the first leg will be to Amarillo TX. that is 15 hours (half the total distance basically). Then I could get some sleep and roll the next day.

Definitely! Keep us up to date...also, is it bad luck to rename a car? Scruffy is no longer scruffy...

Have a safe trip. Too bad you are not stopping through. I would have loved a ride and look over...

Texas on I-10 has those endless swooping roads where the HP comes on and enters the interstate behind you as your swooping and watching only foreword. They watch you coming and have the attack timed pretty good. If you see him the timing will allow him to enter ahead of you. If he zooms zooms away he's running down the road to set up an instant on. You'll know what's happening within 25mi. a 911 is interesting bear coffee conversation.

What a rush!! A new, shiny 3.6 behind you and nothing to do but drive...the engine will only enhance your suspension!
What a thrill!! Enjoy! A question for you to answere when you get back and catch some sleep; the sensations, how were they? Drive on.... Drums
