I am going, but only for Saturday. Leaving from south Florida area between 6:00 and 7:00. This should be a great event with 250-350 cars, mostly Porsches. Rico's 911R is not going to be ready for the trip, so I expect to see him in his 996.
I will be in this. ![]() |

I'm in Ft Lauderdale and was thinking of going on Saturday only. one problem, I decided to install a new oil cooler (fender mount) and ran into an issue mounting it. where to mount the top bracket. (I just submitted a posting). There is a DE at Moroso the 29 that Im trying to get ready for.

So far it looks like its only going to be 3 Pcars coming from South Florida.
We will probably be meeting around 6:30 am at the gas station on Indian Trace and I-595. Then go up 27. If anyone else wants to meet us there, please post so we can wait for you.

Still open at this point. I'm trying to coordinate 2 other cars as well. Hopefully I'll get my '84 out of the shopp in time too!
Let me know what works for you and I'll see what we can come up with. Email me if you like or PM. I'd love to hook up for the ride down with that beautiful 914/6.

I'm going to get there Friday afternoon. To set up camp, relax a bit, and to be ready for the first night race on Friday. Friday's night race is mostly the historic cars, while Saturday's night race is mostly vintage.
If any of you Pelican folks want to stop by and have a drink, my camp will be at turn 10. During these races the place is all but deserted, so finding my camp at turn 10 should be easy. Something else that is really cool, since the turn out is usually light, there is a walk-over bridge just before the hairpin. During the night races you can lay down on the bridge just over the track. Lay there as if you are trying to take a nap. What soothing music having 962's, 935's passing at full song just below you, plus the bridge shakes from the shock wave. Really cool.
