Question 23.8mm 930 Master Cylinder VS. Benz 23mm MC for brake upgrade on '88?

I'm doing a brake upgrade on my '88 and need to address the master cylinder. The obvious choice is the 930 23.8mm MC.

I've also seen lots of posts referencing using a benz MC. These are roughly $100 cheaper. I don't want the savings to be offset by hassle. What all is involved in using this in my '88 instead of the 930 mc? Is the issue that my car has a 'boosted' brake system? any mods required?

Its my understanding that the benz mc solution is more applicable for 77 and earlier (non-boosted) cars, correct?

Thanks,

Bernie

Yes, that's the rub. the benz truck M/C is for non boosted. I'd be floored (pun intended) if you could get it to fit on a power brake car without $100 worth of money and/or pain.

You want the 930 M/C, assuming you are putting on big enough brakes to use it. otherwise you would stick with your stock M/C.
