The member Sprbxr has a flat black 965 race car. It looks mean.

There was a flat black 996 at the one and only Washington DC National Grand Prix race a few years back. It sort of looked like a wetsuit. I touched it and was expecting it to be rough. Now, it wasn't super slick but was alot smoother than it looked. Sorry, I didn't have a digital camera back then (but prob have some 35mm slides somewhere). It looked pretty neat. But black cars get hot as balls out in the sun, so I don't think black is a very PRACTICAL racecar color.

Hey Jim... Good to see another Dutchie here on pelican

I like how you glassed in your rear "R" taillights

That rollbar looks kinda weird with that "V" under the rear window
Care to explain that?

What's the overall plan for your car?

cheers,

Jeroen

Awesome... just awesome.

Bigger fan of the flat black on the older and flared cars (ie 930, RSR, etc) that on the 964 and newer or narrow body cars.

I don't know if this is still a *hip* thing to say but that's "onwijs gaaf".

Yep - it's good. I'm going to go ahead and copy you for the backdate I am planning. Even the R-lights look good, and I don't usually like them.
