Hi all
its great to finally introduce myself after approx 2 years take and no give. I have loved the advice and most of all the great pictures you guys and galls trade back and forth. I look forward to helping spread the hobbie or "ob$e$$ion". The pointers you guys give on the early cars is priceless has saved me countless tI'mes when i was just about to do something realy serious. A little about myself I'm in San Clemente and San Luis Obispo Ca depending upon what week is is and am a proud owner of a 70 911t 3 owner and had about 140k when the odometer stopped working. California car with S package. no sun roof. Kinda rusty in the back shelf and in the fender gutters. motor is on a top end rebuild from 1995' and trany is well different but works something about having a 68 901 mated to a 70-71 911, PO?? it tends to scratch from 1-2 at high rpm. Good news is it just got back from the body shop after a 4 month makeover. ill attempt to include some before and afters. once again great to be on board CLARK ![]() ![]() ![]()

Clark,
Welcome to the board. Your car looks like it is coming together nicely...is that the original blue? The 901 trans/2.2L T combo should be fine; sounds like you may have some worn syncros, not too unusual at that age. Keep us posted on your progress. ![]()

I dont know the color,
it's a PPG with some white and violet added into some fleet color real eye popper ill check the strike plate next time im in town and get you the color code off the plate i thinks its the small one on the drivers side door. heres another pick of the body repair for all you guys who have rusted out back shelves. they can be replaced if you can find one. $$$ ![]() ![]() ![]()
