redcoupe86, let's see some pics of your car if you don't mind.

And if you have buyer's remorse and suddenly don't want the car anymore, let me know and I'll take it off your hands at a real nice price.

God those smiley things can be annoying!

SC Schrauber:

WOW!!! Your Targa looks Sublime!

I love the fact that you went back to the stock front valance too. Why is it that white 911's always look so good to me? And, why is it that I own a black one?

Maybe next time around.

One thing to remember is that any car that is zinc coated will rust if the zinc coating is damaged or removed. Sanding on it, drilling a hole, welding, a rock chip or a dent can and will at times take the zinc off of it.

Worth keeping an eye on rust because once it starts its a bear to stop.

MOMO3.2,
thank you. Grand prix white says it all!
But black leaves you with the option to go matte :)

redcoupe86,

As for the pics, all you need is your digital camera, a cable to transfer the images to your hard drive and that's it. Once the pics are on you hard drive, you can simply drop them into a post by clicking the "Click here to Upload a Photo" link near the bottom of the Post Reply page. After you click the link, click "browse" and then just pull the photo off your hard drive. Then click "Upload Now" and you're done.

Piece of cake.

You don't need you photos hosted on order to post them on this website.

Let's see the pics!!:D

Pull the rocker panel covers off and take a looksee. If you reach forward from the rear wheelwells, theres a spot there that can collect a lot of debris. mine appeared to dam up moisture pretty good and a spot rusted through.

What he said!!! I couldn't believe the amount of moisture retaining "tar-like crud" that I found in this spot (on both sides) even on my garage queen. Luckily, I cleaned mine out before rust developed. OK, now everyone go check since you don't really have to pull the rocker panels off to inspect...
