I was wondering if anyone thinks these rear wheels will work with turbo flares?
Craig Backer |
Maybe. Measure the distance from the inside flat mating surface (where the hub meets the inside of the wheel, near the lugs) to the inside edge of the rim. If it's close to six inches, you're close to okay.
If you have wheels that are close, you can have the flares welded to fit. There's some wriggle room in installing them. For example, my flares are slightly wider than Turbo in back, and slightly narrower than Turbo in front. Here are some inspirational rear-end pictures I took last Friday: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1129971798.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1129971821.jpg And here's my pitch for 17-inch Fuchs on a widebody: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1130054852.jpg |
when you cut off the rear flares ask them not to hackem up, a lot of people want the sc flaires

Thanks Jack.
Good idea Kevin. |
putting the glass flaires up agaisnt the car doesnt cover the wheels do they, is there spacers on it? Kevin
|
I don't think so but it's hard to tell without them being mounted. BTW, the glass flares I have, I'm selling. I've ordered steel turbo flares.

i did a steel conversion aLso really looks like you have spacers behind the wheel
