That brings a question to mind. Mine have not been adjusted in 15K miles, and I was thinking of doing it. The thing is , they are not loud. Over time do the valves tend to "get loose" or "get tight" ? For you experienced valve adjusters out there, say if you waited 20K or 30K
miles, would you expect to find tight valves or loose ones? Thanks, Mike

dont forget new gaskets when you open it up.
But, if just "coping a feel " on the top, you maybe able to re-use them. Sorry couldn't resist (reminds me of a babe i well, er, ran into in Helsingborg(?) many moons ago. Kramer

HB, what do ya know - I work at the Children´s Dept. in the hospital in Helsingborg. Been there for almost 10 years now. Was she a nurse ? Cause then I probably know her (or perhaps been there)..

I'll be damned...small world.
I managed european sales for a electric motor company in 86-90 and we built vent motors for Nordisk Vent. She was Swedish and she was sumptin",not a nurse.... a gentleman never tells !But, I do remember a small french restaurant pushing Quimpar pottery by the Bay?and regretfully having to leave for Helsingor DK, the next day. OK ..... I got lucky a few times in Trollhattan and it was fantastic, but thats another forum. Can anyone tell me if valves get looser over time? Do they ever get tighter over time? Whats the mechanical reason for each?
