15" X huge BBS?

My 930 came with really wide bbs wheels when imported (been in family since nearly new). Anyways they have been in my parents garage for the last 20 years and as far as I know they were only mounted for 6 mo back in 85? I saw them not to long ago and they could definately use a refinish but would probably clean up nicely. These are the classic bbs wheels you see on older 930 pics with the gold center mesh. I think they were wearing 15X315mms rear and 15x 255 ish front. Are these wheels worth getting refinished? Do they have any intrinsic value??? I would love some wider tires but I can imagine I could find 15X315 in anything modern?

Thanks,
Aaron

Just a guess, but the sizes might be 255/45-15 (front) and 345/35-15 (rear). Those were Yokohama AVS Intermediates of that era.

There does not seem to be much demand for 15" wheels these days due to the difficulty finding tires that fit and the availability of the more popular 17" wheels.

I think Pirelli still makes a 345/35-15 and a 225/50-15.

Aaron,
Are you thinking of selling? I'd be interested if you could post some pics of the inside & outside of the rims.
Thanks,
Steve

Wide 15" tires are almost impossible to find

I'm thinking that they would look great on a RS clone race car, where you can get tires for them.
