Is my steering bushing gone? pics
Hey guys,
Can you tell if my bushing is gone? I believe I already have the new sleeve but can't tell. I can get some up and down movement of the wheel if I really try. Under "normal" usage there is very little. ![]() ![]()

It looks like the steel one might be in there. At any rate whatever it is - it doesn't appear to be cracked. If the bushing was bad the wheel would move freely up & down at least 1/4 inch. Feels really unnerving while you're driving.

I concur with Barrpete. I just put the steel upgrade in yesterday.

Mine looks a little different. More of a pronounced lip.
Take a look and see. Did they have different versions of the sleeve? ![]() ![]()

Greg's looks like mine did after I installed the bushing. Try installing yours, if there's one in there already (and I don't think there is), the new one won't go in because of the lip at the top.
