No-you just used "wrong" ink. No way that was ever a 2002. 02s don't have a cowl vent-it's on the hood. The body contour on the doors is much higher. The windshield on that abortion is raked too far back and too low.

I stand corrected . It was my first impression . Your points are definetely true.

Well what is/was that thing ? Sure is ugly . Seems to be water cooled .

I'm not even sure what language that is on the above linked site, but my guess, based on tidbits within the text, is that is a prototype car that uses a 2002 Alpina motor. There seems to be some loose affiliation with BMW but in my 20 years of various BMW and 2002 ownership, I have never seen or heard anything about these weird looking cars. I'll post on the BMW site cause now I'm curious.

Kurt is right... take a closer look at the front bumper of the 3rd car (#11). It says BMW 2002.

Never seen that car before but is appears to also share some of the lines from a Renault Alpine in the 3rd pic from the 1st post.

Might as well say Good-Year blimp, because it has as much in common with that as a 2002. There is not one body part on that car that comes from the 2002. Without boring you with too much trivia, let me say there were lots of BMW ventures involving eastern bloc countries that yielded some bizarre results. BMW sold engines, and componants to various entities. I believe this car simply has a BMW 2.0 liter motor.

Eastern bloc countries had a thing about doing bad versions of existing cars also. There is a car that looks very much like a Jaguar XJ6. There are tons of 2002 knock offs. I think this is some nightmarish love child of a BMW coupe and a 911. Because the 2002 was a big hit, they probably borrowed the name. Never heard of a TIG either. Ti, Tii, Turbo, Glas (not really a 2002), cabriolet, Bauer targa, Touring, that's about it I think.
