How do you take these seats apart????

I would like to ship them off with the bottom and uppers taken apart, can it be done with these seats?

If it is similar to my 1989 there should be two plastic cover caps on the side/back of each seat. Remove the caps and you will see the nuts to remove the back from the bottom. You will also need to detatch the rod that attatches runs up thru the seat back to the levers that let you tilt the back forward. Hope this helps.

I bought some seats a while back and they were shipped in one piece. The guy used some boxes that looked like furniture moving boxes. The backs were leaned forward a bit and they were packed with the plastic with air bubbles.

They were perfect when they arrived.

Just thought you might want to save some pain in the a**

It is already a pain in teh a$$ ...have to ship them off to San Juan PR ...Post office is only way to get it them and i am sure they will not take to kindly me bringing them all oversized
