Euro turn signal rubber trim

Hi,

I live in Australia, but my car is originally a US model, so i've got the amber turn signal lenses on the side too. To make my car look like a euro car, i want to replace the side lenses with the oem rubber strip that goes there. Does pelican parts have this? can somebody please give me a link?

Thanks

G'day mate.
This item is one of those "unobtainium" items, especially here in NA.
I would think you would have better luck trying to source them from Europe.
Try Milltlemotor @ http://www.mittelmotor.de/
Let me know if you need the part # as I have a NEW set all wrapped up nicely waiting for me to get off my butt and get my 74 ready for paint.
Lots of luck and let us know how you make out. There are a couple of members looking for these here.
Cheers,
poorsha (ex WA resident)

well i thought i'd try here first, but i think i can probably find it in australia from a wrecker or something. It would be harder in the US since these aren't standard equipment

Pelican May Have them...Not sure though! Somebody needs to confrim what the below parts are for $91.50 a pop.

"European Side Marker Lamp Covers "
The European cars in this period had a cover that attached to the side markers in order to block out the side part of the lens. Give your car the authentic European look with these lamp covers.

Euro Marker Lamp, left, 911 (1974-89)
C-505-307-00
(OEM: 911-505-307-00) $91.50
Euro Marker Lamp, right, 911 (1974-89)
C-505-308-00
(OEM: 911-505-308-00) $91.50

I scored a pair at the PartsHaven Swap Meet this year. A couple 914 guys had them on their table and didn't know what there were for. $10 for the pair!!! Really cleans up the front getting rid of all that Amber.

I have been considering painting my existing remaining lens w/ satin black to balance out the oil cooler scoop on the passenger's side. Anybody try this?

StayGold808,
"i think i can probably find it in australia from a wrecker"
Let me know how you make out.
I would consider a set if you find more than one.
I can have a friend in NARRE WARREN get them to me.
Thanks,

Noah,
please allow me to rephrase the above posting which was placed in a moment of panic at the office.
What I meant to write that was I am prepared to buy them only if StayGold808 does not want them.
It was his posting after all.
Sorry about that

I've got one extra euro rubber piece since I installed the PelicanParts cooler scoop on the right side . I was going to put it on ebay-but I would gladly like to sell it to a Pelican member.

Thanks RDS
